Eat Joyfully and Live Well – for Midlife Women

2–3 minutes

We’ve all been bombarded with advice about eating “right.” Keto, paleo, clean, low-fat, low-carb—it’s enough to make your head spin. And let’s be honest, most of it comes with a side of guilt, pressure, or restriction that just doesn’t work in real life.

In Episode 28 of the Mind Your Midlife podcast, I had the joy of sitting down with the vibrant, wise, and incredibly real Lynne Bowman, author of Brownies for Breakfast. At 79, Lynne is thriving—living proof that you can eat well, enjoy your food, and feel energized and empowered in your body, all without obsessing over rules or depriving yourself.

💬 “Eat joyfully—and do it with intention.” — Lynne Bowman

She reminded us that how we eat is just as important as what we eat. That includes everything from who we eat with, to how we sleep, to when we stop eating for the day. We talked sugar, sleep, hormones, and one-pot chickpea pasta magic. But most of all, we talked about living with purpose and joy in midlife and beyond.
